What Aerial Video Actually Does for Bookings
When a potential guest lands on your listing, they’re making a split-second decision about whether to keep scrolling or click in. Static ground-level photos, even good ones, don’t convey scale, location, or the experience of being there.
A 60-second aerial walkthrough does three things those photos can’t:
- Shows proximity to the beach. A guest can see, in real-time, that your property is three blocks from the water. Not just reading “walkable to beach” in copy they don’t believe.

What Most Listings Still Get Wrong

No exterior context shot. Guests want to see where the property sits in relation to the beach, restaurants, and activity. A neighborhood-level aerial establishes this immediately.
Interior photos without flow. A grid of room photos doesn’t tell a story. A walkthrough video (drone for exterior, stabilized ground for interior) lets guests mentally move through the property before booking.
No Reels or TikTok-format content. Listing platforms matter, but guests increasingly discover properties on Instagram and TikTok before they ever open Airbnb. A 15-second property Reel can drive traffic your listing page never would on its own.
Photo-only listings in a video-first world. Airbnb now supports video in listings. If you’re not using it, you’re leaving a real ranking and conversion advantage on the table.
